My Last Week in America

My last week in America I did a ton of shit.

Like a ton. I was all over.

I landed in LA from Portland on Monday at noon and I quickly showered at home and immediately went down to San Diego to spend time with my sister and niece and nephew.

My niece had vocal and dance lessons while my nephew had tap and ballet LOL I know, he’s a boy, but he likes it so he can do whatever the fuck he wants.

Tuesday I completed errands that I had to do for Vietnam, but when 3 rolled around I had plans to practice with my old club coach.  He was my coach for about eight years so he means a lot to me.   Practicing with his team and hearing him talk about the “Mean Vicious Opponents” took me back to when I was the girls’ age in their shoes.  I had to leave early because I was meeting other friends for dinner.

We met up at Kabuki aka quite possibly my friend groups favorite restaurant to celebrate….anything or nothing at all.  After rolls on rolls and sake bomb after sake bomb we moved the party to the Prince of Whales or POW’s.  It was great seeing familiar faces.

but first Jordan and I got a little weird

The next couple of days were filled with getting last minute stuff together and visiting a few people.  But I spent majority of my final days with my mother.  She’s pretty rad.

Before I left for the airport I watched the Steelers lose with my old roommate Tawni who lives pretty close to the airport
