The lord threw me a bone by placing organic down the street.
Between a mini Vietnamese style liquor store is a beautiful, bright green grocery store called Organica.
How did I discover this place? Technically, Megan did. One of the many days we were being rained on during our 3pm walk home Megan says, “OMG I JUST SAW CHIA SEEDS. THAT STORE SELLS CHIA SEEDS!” My love for Chia Seeds is endless but I could barely walk in my flip flops without sliding because I was so drenched so we just took note of the name and kept it pushing.
On an afternoon when the sun was shining Meeeg and I walked the three 1/2 blocks to Organica and it felt like we had left the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh and stepped into Viva La Vegan in Santa Monica. It is intimate, extremely intimate. So intimate the entire store can fit in my panorama. But it has my life necessities — oats, chia seeds, quinoa, granola, almond milk, honey, agave, the cutest and sweetest strawberries I have ever tasted, peppers, asparagus, spinach, mixed greens, bell peppers and prune juice (LOL CORI).

I’m hashtag blessed for Organica.
